Do I have to use Peak Beak for the build if I pay the deposit?
+
Yes — and honestly, that's a good thing. Your $750 deposit is applied directly toward your final build, so there's no extra cost for sticking with us. Beyond the savings, we built and maintain our own hosting infrastructure, which means your site will load fast. Really fast. A third-party developer working off your mockup can't guarantee that — we can, because the whole stack is ours.
What if I don't like the mockup?
+
That's exactly what the revision process is for. Every project includes up to 3 rounds of revisions at no extra charge. You'll leave notes directly in your client portal and we'll update the design accordingly. If after 3 rounds it's still not clicking, we'll have a direct conversation — we'd rather get it right than have you walk away unhappy. We stand behind our work.
How does the client portal work?
+
Once your project is underway, you'll get access to a private portal at peakbeak.com. Inside, you'll see your mockup presented cleanly — no digging through email threads or shared Drive folders. You can approve the design with one click, or leave revision notes directly on the page. Everything is organized, timestamped, and in one place. It's simple by design.
How fast will I actually get my mockup?
+
Our average is around 48 hours from when we confirm your project. Many clients get theirs the very next morning — Shafique submitted his request at 9am and had a complete mockup waiting the following day. Turnaround can vary slightly depending on project complexity and our current queue, but we'll always give you a realistic timeline upfront when we confirm your brief.
What do I get with the logo package?
+
Your logo suite includes files in SVG and PNG format — both are important. SVG is infinitely scalable, so it looks sharp on a billboard or a business card. PNG is what you'll use day-to-day on your website and social profiles. We deliver dark, light, and stacked variants so you're covered on any background. We also include a color palette and typography reference so your branding stays consistent across everything you produce.
If I can get the mockup the next day, why can't you just build the website that fast too?
+
Fair question. A mockup is a design — pixels arranged to show you what something will look like. Building the actual website means writing code, setting up hosting, configuring your domain, optimizing for speed, making everything work on mobile, testing across browsers, and connecting any forms or integrations you need. It's a fundamentally different scope of work. That said, we move faster than most — once your mockup is approved, we don't drag our feet. Most sites are live within a week or two depending on complexity, not the weeks or months you'd wait with a larger agency.
